鈥疶he 麻豆传媒 University of Manchester Distinguished Chair contributes to the intellectual life of the university through seminars, public lectures and curriculum development in any discipline within the Faculty of Humanities.

The is a university of world firsts and academic discoveries 鈥� from Ernest Rutherford splitting the atom, to creating the first stored-program computer.听

Currently the university has three Nobel Laureates on its staff, more than at any other UK university, including Professors Sir Andre Geim and Sir Konstantin Novoselov, joint winners of the 2010 Nobel Prize for Physics for their revolutionary work with graphene.听

Dependent Benefits听

Scholars accompanied by eligible dependents for the full duration of the programme may receive a one-time dependent allowance of $1800 for one dependent or $2500 for two or more dependents. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for any Scholars on a grant for less than 6 months.听
